Fitment and Installation
Does our chase light fit other campers besides GFC?
The only confirmed fitment for it without modifications is the GFC Platform Camper and Toppers. While they have been installed on other toppers like smart cap permanent modifications were required.
Should I get clear or amber lenses?
Amber/Yellow lights are going to perform best in dusty conditions. They do not reflect in the dirt as much and don't blind the vehicle behind you as much, although they are still very bright.
What lens pattern do you recommend?
That one is a bit more complicated as it really depends on how you plan to use your lights. If you are looking for close range lighting that has a wide spread the work/scene lens is going to do that best. The wide cornering lens is a good versatile option as well since it has a wide flat beam pattern but is a bit more focused. The driving combo lens is a strong performing chase light since it combines one spot and one flood led per light. The spot lens is going to be best for high speed/high dust environments where you need to be seen most and don't care as much about camp lighting.
What needs to be wired up?
The third brake chase light includes 3 wires for the brake lights (brake, marker, ground) and two sets of two wires each for the Baja Designs S2 pods. If you added a wolfbox to the system there will be an additional wire for that.
